Dear Commissioner Sleer, the Federation's interrogation division has recently made some sinister discoveries about people long presumed dead or missing. Below are some of their findings (all of the below is top secret):-Councillor Joban (the man primarily responsible for the denunciation of Servalan and the restoration of the proper executive authority) has been suspected of being one of the team researching genetic engineering on Bucol Two - a man called Ardus. We know that Ardus is officially blind, but perhaps Joban is faking this - after all, he was publicly disgraced when he accused you of being Servalan and may have adopted this "blindness" so that no one will investigate him. It would also explain his expert knowledge of genetics.
The criminals known as "Blakes 7" now have a new member of their crew called Soolin. She bears an uncanny resemblance to a Mutoid that once served Travis on Project Avalon. We are intrigued by this - was Soolin pretending to be a mutoid to track down her family's killers or is she actually a mutoid who Dorian made a bit more fashionable? Her coldness might be explained if this suspicion is confirmed.
We also have reason to believe that Samor did not die when Blake attacked Space Command Headquarters. We believe he could be impersonating Egrorian who was exiled years ago. His latest location is Malodaar - we recommend you investigate.
There is also reason to believe that Councillor Bercol was actually one of the Federation's most feared torturers, Shrinker. Again this means Bercol survived Blake's attack on Space Command (perhaps he escaped with Samor?). He fooled us for a long time due to his effective use of growing a beard when torturing prisoners. Where he is now we do not know - he disappeared just before Sula's failed coup on Earth.
We have also discovered that the assistant you recently took to Virn was actually a man called Prell who worked on Centero. He was always a loyal servant and it is a pity he is dead.
One fact that may amuse your highness is our discovery that the traitor Avalon who Blake took such pains to rescue actually sold out her cause and became a bounty hunter. She realised she couldn't defeat the Federation and was jealous of Blake's success, so she just decided to make a lot of money without any moral scruples at all. A pity she was never a loyal Federation citizen - she would have been useful...
Finally we have discovered that Blake's defence lawyer, all those years ago, survived Dev Tarrant's attempts to silence witnesses to the cover up. He crawled away from Maja's body and, after a year of evading security, went to Freedom City to get out of Federation territory. Unfortunately he was injured in an accident approaching the city in a ship, losing his leg, and ironically was killed by Blake's enemy Travis (though Travis did not have the faintest idea of the link). He was calling himself Zee at the time.
We hope this file will be useful to your eminence. If you are still interested in the location of Avon we have information from a reliable source that he is planning to steal gold from Zerok. It might be useful for you to question this source - his name is Keiller.
